Gift for your husband...
DH wants his own diaper bag since he saw some of the messenger bags for dad's at BBB. I was thinking of putting a diaper bag together to give him as a gift for the shower. Any suggestions on what I can put in it?

I got DH a couple of really cute daddy books from Barnes and noble that he liked.

Such a cute idea!
Maybe within it you can put a few diapers, a pacifier (maybe a baseball one?!), a little onesie, and maybe some kind of book about being a dad for the first time. I'd personalize the onesie and any other cute little things, maybe even put a baseball in there to be around that. I think he'd love it.

Gift for your husband...
DH got a diaper changing toolbox with some silly and some helpful items from his family (goggles, mask, gloves along with wipes and ointment). You could fill it with some things like that, some kind of daddy related onesie, a cute board book about dads.

Gift for your husband...
my DH wanted his own too - a backpack (he is very particular). He wanted it to have all useful stuff that he can be ready for taking a baby anywhere. I bought him the travel changing pad with pockets and supplied it with wipes, small trash bags and some other things for changing a baby.
I also put a change of clothing for the baby and DH added a first aid kit. I also put a blanket in there.
My DH is veryyyyyy practical and wanted all useful easy to reach things.

My DH is the same way. I just let him pick out the bag. It's a messenger bag and I actually like it a lot.

that is a really cute idea. Maybe pack the essentials, diapers, diaper rash cream, hand/face wipes, burp cloth, pacifier, teething rings, hand sanitizer, change of clothes
