Gift ideas?
Our neighbors were due 3 weeks behind us, but ended up delivering this past week due to complications. They delivered at 31 weeks, so they're now travelling back and forth to the hospital everyday. I thought it would be a nice gesture to get them a congrats gift of some sorts - what would those of you who went early recommend? I want to get something that may make their lives a little easier as the baby stays in NICU...

Maybe offer to help with errands or things around the house so they can spend more time with their baby.

Ok, I know you Beth, and as much as you'd love to take either of the aforementioned suggestions, you are so not going to do that...so how about getting her some premie clothes? I'm sure she doesn't have many bc she wasn't expecting to deliver early.

 You know me TOO well!  I was just thinking, um, I don't think they'd appreciate our vegan dinners, and I have no idea how to cook meat anymore, and I'm not going to! Yeah, I think I'll get a nice premie gift set... I'm sure the little one will be too small for the newborn clothes out there...

I would hope after 17 years of friendship, I'd know you a little bit!   Even if you weren't a vegetarian, Beth, it's hard enough for you to clean and cook for yourself or Gadi, let alone your neighbors! Ok, ok...granted, you have this nesting phenomenon going on, but your neighbor's house isn't your nest.
