Gift Ideas- Christening
Any ideas for a little girl's christening gift? I searched the mall for baby bracelets and Things Remembered. Nada.
Should I just give a check? How much? Thanks!

Re: Gift Ideas- Christening
Did you check Fortunoff? I think they had baby bracelets last time I looked. Macys may have had them, too.
I would give a check. How much depends on what you can afford and how close you are to the family / child. I'd say anywhere from $50 - 150. I know a huge range, but really just give what you can afford / want to give...) Generally, if you're going to a Christening, you're somewhat close with the family, so I would say around $75-100 if it's in your budget.

Re: Gift Ideas- Christening
I received some small statues with the Virgin Mary on them, or a baby in a cradle that were made by waterford, lenox, etc.
I also recieved savings bonds, money, etc cause ym Mom saved everything to show me when I was older.

Perhaps a pewter cup or set of spoons with her initials engraved on them?

Re: Gift Ideas- Christening
I've actually seen some really nice-looking christening frames in Kohl's of all places recently. They were really nice quality, and on sale of course! You could do that with a check or savings bond. I always like to give a small gift along with the check/bond.
