Gift ideas for a 1 year old boy and girl
THey are not related. Two really good friends are having their DC's 1st birthday party in early August.
Need ideas for a great gift for both a boy and girl. They are close friends of ours so we would be willing to spend a decent amount.
Any suggestions?

I got a buggy (sold at BRU) that I can push DS around in and he loves it. Girls would like it too. Anything with wheels that they can push or be pushed around in are good bets. My son hasn't tried it out yet, but I just bought the Bounce and Spin Zebra (sold at TRU) for a friend and she said her daughter loves it. Other great ideas are a set of 200 wooden blocks with a shape sorter on top...this gift can grow with the child .... or an easel....or anything with lights and balls....
1 year olds are easy to please...I just wouldn't get clothes unless they ask for them.
ETA: wagons and picnic tables are cute too.

We got the buggy and the zebra for DD's 1st bday.
She loves the buggy, haven't tried the zebra yet.
I would so want a Radio Flyer wagon as a gift too. Or perhaps a gift certificate to get professional pictures?
