Gift question for Bar/Bat Mitzvah
I am invited to a 3 person Bar/Bat Mitzvah. One is an adult (mother) and the other 2 are teenagers (children). they are having it at a fancy smancy place. What in the world do you do for a gift? I used to nanny for the children about 10-12 years ago. It would be my husband and I attending. HELP!

I'm not sure...I have been to a few Batmitzvahs in the past for DH's bosses DC's , but honestly can't remember the gift we gave ( although it was similar to a wedding gift I remember)
You may want to add Bar/Batmitzvah to your post title , someone out there must have an answer for you...
Eek though, 3 people can be steep !

I usually give what I give for a wedding or a bit less. More if it's family.
What do you mean 3 pple? Is it twins and their mother? Never been to one like that. For a single 13 year old kid I've done about $150 - $200 when DH and I go

I've never been to one, and I know nothing about them... I'll give my opinion anyway though. $100 for each child, and $50 for the mother.

Yikes. for 3 people that is going to be pricey. Id think you have to give between $75/$100 each kid. I guess around the same for the Mom. Maybe a little less?

I personally would give what I would give for a Communion or Confirmation or Sweet Sixteen. $50-$100 depending on who & where.
