Gifts for Friends Children

What would you get as gifts for your friends children?

2 year old girl
3 year old boy
5 year old girl

The 3 year old and 5 year old are brother and sister.

I'm at a loss what to give them? Card with a gift card or money? An actual toy??

I've recently been buying kids books, mainly because I really like getting books as gifts. Also, we have tons of toys already, we don't need anymore, but books never go out of style!

Here's what I've given.

2 year old girl - play purse, or plastic pretend makeup.

3 year old boy - cars and a car mat (this went over BIG with my friends 3 year old!)

5 year old - $5 bills

Puzzles are also a great gift. My 3yrs DS is completely obsessed with doing the same dinosaur one over and over.

We have this one.

If you look at the age range, you can find one for each of those age groups.

I tried to link it again and it just doesn't work. Anyway, it's a 36 piece dinosaur floor puzzle and it came in a little suite case. It's very cute, and they have other ones in that style.
