Yeah well Dallas really did get hit hard.
Houston is next to water and probably iced over. Plus its still actually in the 'eye' of this gunk.
Austin isn't just a Hippie town, its also Hilly in a lot of areas so I could see that being a problem with ice.
Issue here is that it drops in temps so fast. ANY moisture out there is flash frozen in about 2hrs. Today warmed up nicely and roads were fine by noon. Its nearly 6pm now and you can see the neighbors dripping pipe starting to ice again.
By the way why is it dripping outside?
Goes from close to 50 earlier today to dropping to the 20s in about a few hours from now. Its 40ish now. So it goes from sunny and moist melts to frozen and dry cold super fast.
Which is why I ALWAYS loved Winters in NY haha. Never complained about them during those 10yrs. But you can keep your humid summers and subways and window ac units ha
