Gilly Hicks in Smithaven?
Has anyone been here yet?
I don't know when it opened but it has to be somewhat recent... I thought the store was great! It is a "cousin-company" to Abercrombie so similar stuff but lots of bras and underwear too. Their bras and undies were really nice and so COMFORTABLE!
Then, their clothes were same quality and style as Abercrombie but much cheaper... plus, the staff wasn't snotty lol sometimes they can be at A&F but I was surprised by this store b/c they were friendly and helpful.
The music was blasting as always but I really liked it - I got two tops, two pairs of shorts and a tank for 96 bucks - can't beat that! It would have been much more $$$ at A&F for that!
Anyone been here? Anyone ever heard of it before? I haven't!

I used to be a manager for A & F and now my sister is a manager there so I've been waiting forever fo Gilly Hicks to open!!!!! I LOVE IT!! Their bras are soooooooo comfortable!!! Currently theres only 4 or 5 nationwide so I was stoked to hear that their 2nd store would be a Smithhaven!!
They actually choose Smithhaven Mall to be their 2nd location because the Victorias Secret there is the BEST selling VS Nationwide (who would've thunk)
Now I'm so excited for Ruehl to be opening up here!! I remember traveling to NJ just to go to Ruehl before it opned in Roosevelt

oh wow! i didn't know that about VS... but - ya know, come to think of it there have been times where i really wasn't thrilled with them but b/c there was no where else to go to buy bras (at least in that mall b/c i am not a fan of the dept store bras) i would just buy them there by default... now, i can go to GH if i want!
also - what is Ruehl?? i've never been!

Ruehl 925 is Abercrombie's 4th Concept. It targets a more mature age group and is a little more expensive than A&F. They figure that Abercrombie Kids targets the age group 7-12, Hollister is 12-17yrs, A & F is supposed to target 17-24yrs and now Ruehl 24+. At one point the closest was in NJ but now theres one in Roosevelt Field Mall and one coming to Smithhaven. I absolutely LOVE their clothes!! And their symbol/logo is the bulldog (the way the moose is the A&F logo) and its so freakin cute!!! They also sell amazing leather handbags (one was just featured in Peoples Buzz Worthy section). If you like A&F you should DEF check it out

I just wanted to say that I went there today, and I love it. I already can't wait to go back. Their bras are amazing, comfortable, sexy and classy. I think I found a new favorite!!
Yes, the website is totally weird, and the girls that work there are like 12 and half dressed, but I have to say I really like their stuff....Even the body lotion is delish!!

Ive gotten my step daughter some stuff from there..t-shirts and stuff. She lives in Western Nassau so to have some stuff that noone else has was quite a big thing for my favorite fashionista!!!

A&F launched Gilly Hicks in January.
I haven't been there. A&F isnot my style so I thought it was really similar to that and didn't waste my time. Maybe I will check it out.

I haven't gone there yet..... how large to their bras go? (I bet my muffins will be too much for them to handle in a couple months  but I can still plan for after  !)
