Ginger is sick *2nd edit* she's not coming

Foster Mom's ears must have been burning. She sent me an email tonight that she knows Ginger is getting better because she wants to get back into the house. Apparently, they put the sick dogs in quarantine in their garage (which is temperature controlled) I know why they have to but that made me sad.
She did say she thinks she misses her daughter, who got a new home back in early December, because there is a 12 week old puppy in quarantine too that she took under her wing! Sounds like she has strong maternal instincts. Can't wait to see how that translates to Brinkley!
So, progress.

She's too sick to travel. She's not coming for another 19 days. 
What makes this worse is I get the impression from the foster mom like I'm bothering her when I ask for information. I have to interrogate her.
Sh*t. I know it's better she not travel, I'm just totally bummed right now.
I just got a call from our adoption coordinator, she said that Ginger has an upper respiratory infection and might not be well enough to make the transport pickup on Wednesday. 
She had the Bordatella vaccine already but she has a cough and congestion, that they gave her a shot and antibiotics, and will see how she feels by Wednesday afternoon.
Then she said, "Please don't cancel the adoption!" I said, "Are you crazy?" I said I would rather she be 100% healthy since she has four days on a truck ahead of her and what kind of person would I be if I canceled her adoption because she has a cold? Great things are worth waiting for.
Since the Texas pickups only happen every two weeks, if she doesn't make this week, she won't be here till Saturday, Feb 6th. Sandwiched between my husband's birthday on the 5th and Super Bowl on the 7th.
Can you think positive thoughts for Ginger? Thanks for reading.

i havent been on all weekend so i am just catching up now! there is no way they could move her arival date sooner if she gets better quicker?

The company that does the road trips does runs every other week to the deep south. They pick up at numerous locations along the way, so they're not going to change the schedule for one dog. As much as I wish they would. 
I know 19 days isn't going to make a whole lot of difference in her life, I was just so GD excited, it's all I could think about.

glad to hear shes getting better tho! i will continue to keep my fingers crossed for you and Ginger!
