Girl Scout ideas

I posted this a few weeks ago and got a few good responses but I was looking for a few more.

I'm a Girl Scout Troop leader and I'm looking for trips to take my girls to that help the girls earn patches.

I know some retail places do it and give the out the patches too.

Does anyone know of any?

My son is in cub scouts and here are some of the things he has done.

Yaphank Recycling Center

Animal Shelter

Fire House (Fire Safety)

Suffolk County Farm

Science Museum in Riverhead

Long Island Children's Museum - they actually do sleepovers in the museum for scouts.

Radio Station Tour, although I'm not sure what patch they earned for this. I think it was just a bead.

Holtsville Ecology Center and Animal Preserve

Most of these places don't give out the patches though, they have to be purchased at the scout store.
