Girl Scout Leaders...
What are you all doing for the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting?
Since the anniversary was Monday --- we are celebrating tonight at our meeting. I'm excited for it...it's my last meeting before I have the baby (csection scheduled for Monday) and we have a lot of fun activities planned.
Our girls wore their Daisy Tunics to school on Monday.
Tonight we are extending our meeting to 100 minutes ---
We will be hulahooping for 100 minutes. Not every girl will be hulahooping for that whole time --- we have other stations set up...but at least 3-4 girls will be hulahooping at all times.
We are eating 100 calorie packs for snack.
We are making necklaces with 100 beads and the girls have to brainstorm ways to count out 100 beads --- I do have a planning sheet for them to use...I will try to attach a picture of it. I have a cadette troop coming in to help with this station.
The girls are making little coloring books with some GS pages --- Where they decorate the GS Promise, and they can color a picture of what Girl Scout uniforms looked like 100 years ago and then draw a picture and color what Girl Scouts look like now.
Interested to hear what everyone is doing for the 100th year celebration or what you did already!
