Girl's Day in the City
WWYD?
My best friend is visiting from Chicago. Just wanted to add we were roommates for a few years in Hoboken, NJ right outside the city. Always went to restaurants and bars when we were there, but never did something "different"
we got a hotel room Fri night and planning on spending the day in the city.
Any ideas?
It's my first night away from DS and DH in a while so I just want to enjoy. We've done the shopping, SATC tour, and been to an outside concert.
Any advise would be great! Cute ideas?
She mentioned the Statue of Liberty, but I did that in HS. Not sure about that.

thanks... actually we're staying Fri night and going out for dinner and drinks then spending Sat in the city and coming back to LI early evening

I would say do the Statue of Liberty if that's something she wants to do. You get to go to NYC whenever you want, KWIM? I would try doing a siteseeing double decker. Wayyy infomational and fun!

Window shopping along 5th- My favorite is Bendels

what about a circle line cruise around manhattan? You can see the statue of liberty and other things from the boat
