My doctor is no longer delivering, but I really liked the covering doctor who did deliver me. Dr. Jonathan Herman from Elite Women's Healthcare in New Hyde Park. There are four doctors in that practice I think. I also have met Dr. Sondra Sturim. She was VERY nice, and I have met the other doctor in the practice and like him too, Dr. Wolfson.

I currently see Dr. Taubman at 900 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY. # is (516) 482-4343. This is my second DC but I used a different ob for DC#1. So far so good with this OB.

I'm using Dr. Marni Sanders from Women for Women in Lake Success - their offices are next door to LIJ. There are (i think) 4 other women doctors in the group practice. I've met with Dr. Marci Ostroff and I like her a lot. I've heard great things about Dr. Nicole Belle and Dr. Christine Duncan, but I havent met with them yet.
I prefer my old obgyn from manhattan - but I couldnt handle to commute to see him with this twins pregnancy. I'm not a fan of group practices - but this one seems fine.

Just crashing, but I LOVEEE him too. To me he was AMAZING when I had my DS. I had a bit of a scary story and Dr Cohen acted fast and made a quick decision to do a crash c-section. He was always calm, easy going and answered any questions
BTW... he's not so bad either

Just crashing, but I LOVEEE him too. To me he was AMAZING when I had my DS. I had a bit of a scary story and Dr Cohen acted fast and made a quick decision to do a crash c-section. He was always calm, easy going and answered any questions
BTW... he's not so bad either
Yes... he's definitely easy on the eyes...lolol... but he is ALWAYS so calm and relaxed and makes you laugh!

Thanks for all the recommendations. I called a few and only Dr. Cohen has called back. He was very nice and prescribed me Zofran over the phone. My question is if he is the only dr that delivers is he at every delivery or does he have a covering practice?

Im crashing too but totally agree! I needed an emergency c-section and he helped me stay so calm! I definietly reccommend him...very easy going and funny too which definitely helps calm nerves

My Ob-gyn is Dr. Stephanie Buck-Haskin in Great Neck. I am not expecting, but she's great.
Made my pregnancy and giving birth a breeze.

He is the only dr that delivers in the practice. He does have a covering practice, but he seems to be on call a lot. And you will always see him for appts. Also, what's great is every test in done at his office, including high risk tests... he has a perinatologist come in who does all of the high risk sonos like the ultrascreen and Level 2. And he is GREAT about calling back!

He's good looking, but his personality makes him even that much better. You'll see what we mean. He's honestly so easy-going and funny. DH liked him a lot too and enjoyed coming to every appt.

Thanks for asking about me. I did post on Thursday that when doing the u/s they found an empty gestational sac. Dr. Cohen said I am 5wks, very early to see anything. I've never been to the dr so early in my pregnancies so I've never seen that before. I was definitely a little freaked. But he was great and I am very happy to have him as a dr. He was great with my son as well. We went over all of my pregnancies and I am on Zofran around the clock to try and combat my hyperemesis. I did throw up at work last night but I am attributing that to attempting to take my prenatal vitamin.
So now I wait for 12 more days until the next appt and u/s.
