Girls Getaway: Miami or Vegas?
Where would you go and why?
We are 3 married women desiring sun and drinks for a few days for under $1000 per person (total cost of trip)
I'm tearing my hair out as we've been trying to plan this for a couple months. Everyone has something negative about every location we've chosen.

I'd choose Vegas... but that's b/c I live in FL and go to Miami all the time.  Plus, I love Vegas.
Have you looked into a 3 or 5-day cruise?

I love Miami...I love the beach and I hate to gamble...South Beach is so much fun...it depends what you are looking for

What is South Beach like? I have the impression that it's all exclusive clubs with expensive covers and drinks.

South Beach is a lot of exclusive clubs, but there are some really fun places that are easy to get into also. It's a great mix and great food. I went for a friends bachelorette 4 years ago and had a blast.
Mangos is a great bar with great dancing, and eat at Gloria Estefan's restaruant, I forget the name if you go. That was good too!
