girls gymnastics--bella karoli sp?

did anyone watch him speak last night about the chinese athletes being under age? and that the chinese government gave them fake passports with fake ages so that they could compete?? if this is true, i am sooo mad! granted they were great athletes--but that isn't fair and against the rules........

That has been the conterversy all along. The NBC broadcasters keep saying, Judge for youselves, there passports seem legit. . ." trying not to be compeltely biased.

Bela Karolyi is awesome, b/c he just said it as a matter of fact, talking about how pressure affects a 20 year old differently than a 14 or 15 year old.

When he was then asked if that meant he didn't beleive they met the age requirement he pretty much said, of course not, half are under age & moved on.

I don't remember all the names, but there are 2 in particular that look like babies to me.

i saw this also and the girl that did the mat first in the group competition looked really really young,
and i think the fact that their bodies are smaller and not as developed helps them in gymnastics so it really is an advantage if its true

I had a convo with some other moms about this today.. I dont believe for a second that they are 16.

One of the moms was telling me that since they are so over populated that they take chinese girls at 2 or 3 years old and put them in gymnastic camps

No wonder they're so good lol
