Girls i really need some hugs UPDATE LADIES OMG OMG!!!!
I feel like such a failure! I just finished 13 auditions ( got about 3 callbacks) and have not been accepted to an opera program yet. I feel like i have worked sooo soo hard and now i am sitting here crying for the last week because i am letting Cadi and my family down. I know this was my first audition season after being in school. It has taken friends of mine 4 years of auditions to finally make something. But this is just sooo tough. I feel like I am just letting my family down so much. I want to work so bad and now i just got rejected. I just need some hugs right now. I am extremely depressed over this.
UPDATE!!!! I think your prayers helped me I just received a call from Chautauqua Opera!!! Its from June-August. You girls have the power of prayer!!!

Nothing in life...NOTHING worthwhile comes easy. You have a great voice and you just have to bust your butt likeyou are! and when you get there it will be soooooooooo much more worth it!

in all seriousness, it will happen. Be patient ( easier said then done) and have faith. Keep your head up and take it one step at a time.
oh and you are NOT NOT NOT disappointing Cadi or letting her down. Stop that noise now. It's not true!!!!

Awww I'm so sorry!!!! But am I crazy or is 3 callbacks pretty great percentage wise?? All of the performing arts are just SOOO hard to break into, just keep auditioning, your time will come!!!!!!!
IMO, you'd only be disappointing your little girl if you gave up!!!!! As long as you're still in the game you're teaching her one of life's most important lessons so CHIN UP mama!!!!!
