Girls in the last month...
Is anyone else completely uncomfortable? I dont want to be a baby, but I can barely walk and sit up. I have so many aches and pains in my stomach... just wondering if this is normal or if Im just complaining to much. How can this go on for another few weeks!!!!

Re: Girls in the last month...
right there with you -
I was such a couch potato this weekend - I feel bad for DH, but i've got the hemroids, so its uncomfortable to walk, and I have very little energy - so I could be active for 20 minutes and then need a rest. I don't know how I'm going to last through labor....
My last day at work is friday - hope I can last till then! (actually I hope arrives before then!)

Yes! My body is done! I've also been having a lot of contractions lately that are getting uncomfortable. I can't wait to get my body back to myself.

Re: Girls in the last month...
I am miserable and tired. I hate to complain, but I'm so anxious to feel better! My shoulder is killing me... the nurse at my school told me it is a "reference pain" and it means the baby is pressing on my diaphram. I have aches and pains in my abdomen and I dread moving everytime I have to get up to go to the bathroom. My hands are killing me. Last night I got NO sleep, so I actually left work early today. The good news is that my school district has finally found a leave-replacement for me... maybe I will leave work sooner than later!
Feel better, everyone!

Re: Girls in the last month...
I keep falling asleep when I sit on the couch for too long and having to run to the bathroom constantly is driving me crazy! I just keep telling myself that it won't be for too much longer...

Re: Girls in the last month...
I'm definitely uncomfortable too. I had such bad pains in my lower abdomen last night I could barely move. The contractions are hitting me too, as is the almost constant need to pee. The nightly hip pain is becoming almost unbearable. I MUST have this baby early...I can't stand the thought of 3+ more weeks of this!

Me! My sciatica has gotten to the point where I can barely do anything. It's so frustrating, but I'm trying not to be too much of a Debbie Downer since there is an end in sight. This month cant go fast enough.

Re: Girls in the last month...
Miserable. I'm convinced it's my body's way of accepting the impending labor pain, and the disturbed sleep of newborn ness. I am so looking forward to waking up every 2 hours to feed a newborn. Soooo much better than waking up every 45 minutes in agony, having to roll myself out of bed while wincing in pain.

Re: Girls in the last month...
Add me to the miserable list! I am just so uncomfortable, I feel like my stomach is so tight I'm going to bust, my ankles, feet & hands are swollen and my hands are tingly/numb all the time. I'm exhausted & cannot get comfortable for anything. My heartburn is still kicking my azz & I keep getting all kinds of weird aches & pains. I am so done. I have also just been saying I want my body back! I know it's all worth it, but sometimes you just need to vent!

Re: Girls in the last month...
I'm right there with you girls. I 37 weeks today and starting to get pretty uncomfortable. Last week at my appointment I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. I'm hoping my Dr's appointment tomorrow will show that I've progressed a little more. All of the women in my family have delivered before their due dates so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be the same.
Is anyone else getting quick harp pains down there? They're not contractions and its not when the baby is moving. They only last a second but they can be pretty painful. I'm hoping its a sign that things are happening but who knows.
All I know is I'm ready to meet this baby and I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore!

Yes, I'm getting those pains too! I'm attributing them to the baby dropping. Went for my 37-wk appt. last night and my doctor said my cervix is softening. I can't wait to have this baby!
