Girls in there last few weeks....
Im 35 weeks and suddenly not feeling so great. My belly is sore all over and my back is killing me...
How do we know when its a contraction vs. the baby pushing its way out. Lately all i feel is hard and slow pushes...they could easily be contractions or the baby...

i'm 37 weeks and i feel the same thing, i'm pretty sure its just the baby. contractions will be felt across your whole abdomen like a tightening feeling.

I will be 36wks in 2 days and right now I feel just pressure below the belly botton....my lower back kills me at times but I think that is just because my chair ***** at work.

I'm not at the end yet but just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you and getting excited to know  or  . Do you have any feeling?

i'm 40w2d...no contractions yet (at least not the real onces).
i think what you're feeling is baxton hicks. my stomach gets hard and then relax too; alot of pressure in my lower pelvis area; and my back kills.
i don't really know what real contractions feel like but i figure if they're not really really painful..they're not real contractions

I will be 38 weeks tomorrow. My lower back has been killing me and I am definetly having some sort of contractions but nothing constant. I guess they are BH.

I get sporadic BH, and my back and hips are killing me.
I think it's just your baby putting themselves in the position to get ready. Real contractions are a tightening feeling across your belly.

They say 'you just know' when you have a real contraction and I always thought that was BS until I had a real contraction. That was maybe 2 weeks ago... I was sleeping and the pain of it woke me up.  It HURT. Not like the little twinges I feel here and there, or the pressure or the aches and pains that I'm so used to I don't even notice anymore. I could barely breathe through it.
It started at the top of my belly and moved all the way down to the bottom, and then it started again at the top. Then my baby started to kick. And that was it.
The next day people told me I looked like I dropped.

Sounds like BH, however you never know. Not all contractions are felt and or in the front. People have back labor and people like me didn't even really know I was in labor contracting. just thought it was the usual BH since they were not consistant. Call dr. and get mornitored. Doesn't hurt.

A true contraction feels like a charlie horse. You won't have any doubt when it's an actual contraction...
