Girls NIght Out Ideas
Hi everyone,
I'm planning a girls night out this saturday with some friends and since I'm new to Long Island don't know where to go. We would like to go somewhere we can have a few drinks and just hang out. Maybe hear some music. I live in Nassau but wouldn't mind going to Suffolk, just not too far in. Any ideas would be really helpful.
Thanks

I wish I could help, but I haven't been out in ages! I'm sure you will receive some great ideas from everyone on here. Have a good time where ever you end up going!

Thanks for responding. Honestly I rarely get any answers here. LOL. Maybe it's because I'm new. Just thought I'd give it a shot.

How about Huntington? Hanu has cool drinks and fun tapas foods. I also like Sweetwaters for fondue and cocktails

Re: Girls NIght Out Ideas
Rockville Centre has some GREAT places.
When I go out with my fellow mommies for much needed Ladies' Nights, we usually go to Cabo's (Mexican food and very lively bar) and Casey's (bar and turns into a dance club after 10pm). Both in Rockville Centre and both lots of fun.
If you're looking for a more quiet place with good drinks, great desserts, and a lounge-y vibe- Waterzooi in Garden City is great and so is Cafe Barocca in Garden City South.
Look at me...I sound like I have a life!
Have a great time!

I was going to say Huntington as well. There are so many bars, restaurants and late night pizza places (for some late night eats). Never dull in the village. Plus you never know who you will see

Re: Girls NIght Out Ideas
If you're looking for bars Huntington and Rockville Centre are probably your best bet. If you're looking to just go somewhere and eat and talk while drinking a place like Chili's could be fun. I've had a couple of girls nights there because they have 2 for 1 margaritas.
What towns are you looking for? And what kind of night do have in mind?

I don't really hang out in LI too much (mainly in the city) but what about dinner at that fondue place on Rte 110, melting pot? then there are a few bars/ lounges in that area in huntington too
