Girls that are not finding out the sex..

Lately i have been wanting to buy clothes and i dont like greens and yellows too much.

Have you girls bought anything for the baby yet?

I haven't gotten anything on my own, but someone bought some little onsies in green, and they were cute! I agree that it can be hard to pick stuff out, but I think that there are some cute neutrals out there. Good Luck!! How are you feeling??

I have a friend who didn't find out the sex and she bought everything in lavendar and sage green. I think lavendar is a little girly, but it looked nice at the shower.

i havent started, im having an august baby so it will be hot when we are outside and in a one peice outfit in the AC. Im going to get the whites, yellow's, and greens. I dont mind the neutral colors. Im sure once we have the baby our family will go clothes shopping by the time we get out of the hospital.

I didn't find out what I was having when I was preggo, and I just bought some girl and some boy clothes, and then returned the clothes I didn't need and went out and bought more once the baby was here.


Plus once the baby is born i'm sure friends and family will go out and buy some really cute stuff for you!

no i haven't bought much and proly won't. i figure once the baby is here i'll go out, in the meanwhile i'm sure we'll have more than enough onesies and whatnot.

The only thing I have bought (and I am keeping at my MILs b/c I have discovered that I am a stupid level of superstitious ) is a few ecru layette sets and an ecru baby snowsuit set for 6-9 mo that was on sale at ON.

Other than that I am not getting clothes too much.

(I am also not a fan of the bright pastel yellows or greens...... )

ETA: BRU has a line called "organics" that has some nicer variations of greens & yellows that are more muted. I have a lot of their stuff on the registry for onsies & stuff.

My son was born in April and I didn't find out the sex and we had so many clothes! People bought us a ton after he was born and that covered me all summer and into early fall.

As soon as he was born I tried to catch some sales for fall stuff.

We are only going to buy a neutral outfit to take the baby home in.

I figured by the time I leave the hospital, I will already have a few outfits given to me as gifts....

I didn't find out with my son and I got tons of clothes as gifts and my shower. I didn't have to buy him clothes until after he was in 12 month clothing. I actually felt bad not buying him stuff but I didn't need to he had so much.

I had tons of white, greens andyellow but it was spaced out over the different sizes and mostly sleepers/stretchies so it worked out well. When he was born I got a ton more clothes that was boyish. People actually asked me how did I get so much blue because they saw how much yellow and green I got at my shower.

I plan to do the same this time around. I figure I have tons of yellow and green and white stretchies and onesies to get me started. Then I have lots of blue stuff if it is a boy and if it is a girl - I am sure she will be spoiled the same way my son was.

i havent bought anything... closer to my due date, I'll buy a pack of those tshirts. with the snap side button
and 2 or 3 neutral pjs. the rest i know mom will go nuts when i have the baby, and she'll be buying the coming home outfit as well. she did that for her first 2 grandchildren and will do it for her 3rd as well..

I just bought a BUNCH of stuff yesterday with little froggies on it. I went with light greens, browns and some blues. No pinks, only because I feel that blue is more versatile than pink and some stripes. I got some cute yellows at Old Navy.

We havent bought anything yet (though DH did stop and stare at the baby JETS clothes at Dicks sporting good at the mall yesterday).

No, but we're waiting until the baby is born to go crazy with the clothes shopping. We're only going to buy just a few basic necessities in neutral colors before the baby comes.
