a minty green color. I would do yellow, but my hallways are all yellow and i feel like it would be yellow overkill.

This is the great debate..id love to hear what others say. As of now, im thinking of going a little darker than an eggshell. I figured once the baby gets here ill have plenty of colors to accent with.

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
ours is a pale yellow. I think it's a great neutral color to go with blue accents or pink accents!

Ecru walls with yellow trim and this border:
The wall color matches the background, and the trim matches the yellow behind Thumper.

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
We are probably going to go with Behr Calla Lily. It's very light and neutral.

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
Here is our bedding (its Leap Froggie) and we are painting the room, a sage green (I think its Behrs Atheina Green) on the bottom and yellow (dont remember the color but its a buttery yellow) on top, with a chair rail between and the border near the ceiling.

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
I didn't know what I was having......and I didn't want a neutral bedding set. So, I picked the 2 sets I liked, and my sister who was buying it for me knew which 2 I liked. I just matched a color to them.
We painted it benjamin Moore Healing Aloe...it is a pale green. Now that DS is here we have plenty of boys accents and there is no doubt it is a boys room.

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
Definitely a warm cream / vanilla color. Right now we're leaning toward Benjamin Moore Hepplewhite Ivory.

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
I waited to decorate the baby's room till after he/she was born, the baby is in your room the first couple of months anyway, so you have a lot of time to decorate with the colors you want to use. I bought a boy and a girl bedding and just returned the one I didn't need. I hate the color green and yellow.

We haven't decided 100%, but I think light - medium yellow. The bedding I like is yellow, red, and blue with elephants and I am getting Babar posters framed in red.

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
We are going to go with a light yellow on top and white underneath the chair rail. My whole house is sage and brown so I wanted something a little different.

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
We painted ours a really nice shade of green. It is bright and cheery and not overwhelming.
eta: The paint was American Tradition from Lowe's. The walls are Herb Cornucopia (6005-5C) and the ceiling is Lemon Cream (3006-4C).

Re: Girls that dont know the sex of their baby.
We didn't intend on finding out the sex (although it was obvious at our 20 week sono) but we intended on doing a very light green that would match our bedding. Now that we know it is a boy, we are going to use a light blue.
