Girls Vacation
Hello. So this summer my girlfriends and I are planning a tropical vacation. What islands (Barbados, St. Lucia, Bermuda, etc) have activities, bars/clubs that are not all geared to honeymooners? We're not looking for anything crazy like Cancun spring break just something fun and partyish but still "classy". (Again I'm not into reliving the college experience LoL)
TIA. Crystal

Re: Girls Vacation
I was in Barbados last summer with DH and they really seem to have an active nightlife. On Fridays, there is Oisten's Fish Fry - both vacationers and locals come out for it. There's music, great food, beer, and small merchant stands set up. Not too far a drive from there is a row of restaurants and bars that you can walk to. We were just going to dinner around there one night and didn't get a chance to check everything out but it looked like people were having a good time (but not in a crazy way). We stayed at The House, which was really nice but sort of quiet since it was August.

Re: Girls Vacation
What about a cruise? I did that with my girlfriends right after college and it was so much fun! There are always groups of guys/girls on cruises and there is so much to do.

We have thought about it but for some reason I am petrified of the idea of a cruise. I am scared of the idea of being inside a ship and not being able to get away in case of fire and such. But maybe I will try to warm up to the idea.
Thanks ladies.

Re: Girls Vacation
Barbados! But if you go there stay on the south coast—much more nightlife than on the west (though the west has better resorts).

Re: Girls Vacation
I'm a big fan of Mexico. You should look into Playa Del Carmen or Puerto Vallarta. You can usually find pretty good deals to either.
