I do both - I make my own when I can and give her jarred. I figure whatever I can do is good for her but as a FT working mom it's hard to make all of it.

I make all my own, its very easy and one batch makes lots of baby food. I use those little disposible plastic containers (I think they are made by ziploc) and I just took them with me. The beauty of making it in ice cube trays is that you can defrost only what you need. Noah is one and eats lots of table foods, but I still do a lot of cooking for him, I make things like Rice with tomato sauce, beef and sweet potato stew...

I also feed him things like fish sticks etc...

With Sarah I started out making my own which she ate like a champ. Then we went to FL for a week and used jarred and she never would eat the homemade again. I guess she liked the type of apples or pears they were using better than the organic ones I could find.

With Andy I've been using jarred, but he's only on prunes so far to get his tummy issues under control.

I made 90% of my food for Molly and it was super easy. The only thing I didn't make was applesauce. I got organic, no sugar added.
The cube method is super simple. I am a working mom and found it just as easy to feed her as opening a jar of food.
