Girls who run and who have had a csection
I went for a run today. Nothing crazy but a little harder than normal with the little bit of wind and pushing the stroller. When I stopped I had intense cramping (low near my scar). I had to sit down for a while and couldn't pick up the kids...much better now but still very sore.
Does this happen to anyone? Is it scar tissue?
my c section was 14 months ago

I wish I could say it was normal, but it has never happened to me after 3 c/s
Do you normally push the stroller when you run? that does take some core muscles. plus pushing the stroller can definitely add to the workout.

Thanks for your response. I am thinking it was scar tissue, it was hurting for another day or so but not like typical muscle soreness kwim? I haven't run again but I worked out today and felt fine. Thanks again!

I've had 2 sections and have felt weird twinges but not serious pain after a workout. Have you been running for a while or is it something newer for you? Do you get the same or similar pains after any other core workouts? May be worth asking your doctor about.
