Girls with curly hair: what kind of hair dryer do you use?

I have never owned a hairdryer... hair dryers are NOT friendly towards curls, but I think I need to invest in one now because I think they now make them specifically for curly hair. Is that true??

I have very dry, very curly medium length hair. What kind of a dryer do I need? I heard something about defusers... ???

Talk to me, my sisters in curls, share your wisdom!

Re: Girls with curly hair: what kind of hair dryer do you use?

I have the elchim 3900, which I bought specifically for straightening my hair and I love it! But I did buy the defuser for it and have used it a few times (when it's freezing out)

Personally, I'm not a fan with how my hair looks when defused. I get way more volume then I like when curly. So when I do use it, it's just on the bottom and towards my actual head to try and get it to be not soaking wet.

My hair, when curly, looks best when I put my products in (I only use soft touch stuff-nothing crunchy) scrunch it, let air dry And don't touch it after.

If you YouTube defusers, you can see the best way to do it. I'm not sure if there are specific dryers for curly hair - it's just a good dryer that has defuser attachment.

Same. I diffuse on the lowest setting just to "set" my hair, if I dry it all the way it gets frizzy.

It's a diffuser. Unfortunately they're hard to find, so I order them online (they're not all the easy to find online either.)
