Girls with Japanese straightening- can you curl your hair?
I got JHS done in December! Can you still curl your hair with japenese? I'm in 2 weddings in March and April. I'd like to do a curly style, but I'm unsure if my hair will hold a curl at this point. Will a curling iron work? Would curls hold? I'm so unsure what to do with my hair; I don't want it falling out in the middle of the day.

I did it way back and for me, No.
Why i chose not to do it anymore.
I do brazilian and even with that, holding curls is tough. i contribute that to years of me doing it and build up on my hair.
Im actually going to take a break from it for a bit. I miss the curls I had.

it works for my hair. but i have very thick hair that has always held styles well.

see my hair is like this too. Coarse and very thick. Ive never had any problem with a style holding. Maybe I'll luck out after all.

I have thick, wavy hair, it's not coarse, but I have a TON and no I couldn't curl it. It also grew in very funky for me. I wouldn't do it again. I do want to do the keratin treatment as soon as I'm not breastfeeding or pregnant.

I had it done. You know how thick my hair is. It never held a curl with the JHS.

I have very thick hair and no it doesn't hold a curl. It takes the curl. Looks great for 2hrs then falls. For my wedding I grew it out for a year and even then half way through the night the curl fell out. I was annoyed.
