Gizmo has been scaring me lately with the way he sleeps...
He sleeps with his tongue out now!!! See picture below.
His tongue gets hard and dehydrated and I think he is dead when I find him like this. He really scares me!

My Daisy (who looks like the same kind of mix at Gizmo) Does the same exact thing. She is also the same age as your Gizmo. It is very hard for me to see her like that too!

our shih tzu (who is 11) sleeps like that more often than not now, and coupled with sleeping flat on her back its a really scary sight....your dog is adorable btw...
