Gizmo keeps throwing up
The yellow foamy kind. This has been going on for about a week now. He doesn't seem to feel sick though, he is eating and drinking as usual and acting normal otherwise. Is there anything special I should feed him? We have a vet appointment for Saturday for a regular check-up so I will bring it up to the vet then.

Re: Gizmo keeps throwing up
a couple months ago sophie was vomiting at least once every day but otherwise looked fine. we brought her to the vet after a few days of this, and it turned out she had an ear infection! it was so random - we never would have guessed - but maybe the infection was messing with her inner ear and making her dizzy and nauseous.
i would check gizmo's ears to see if they look red or infected.
the vet gave soph canned food that was easily digestible, and it (plus the ear antibiotic) worked to stop the puking. i'm not remembering what brand it was, but maybe you can ask your vet?

Re: Gizmo keeps throwing up
I think I would call the vet and ask, not wait until Saturday. Be sure he gets plenty of liquids in the meantime...

Re: Gizmo keeps throwing up
Is she eating and drinking or throwing it back up after she eats? This happend to my cat a few months ago. She was throwing up constantly for 2 days. It turned outs she had a stomach infection, from what I have no idea.

No, not every day. Just a few times over this past week... about every other day. I actually spoke to someone who assured me not to worry. But I will still mention it to the vet this weekend.

Re: Gizmo keeps throwing up
Oh no Gizzy
Has anything been different in his routine?
I know my mothers dog used to get sick (vomit) every Saturday morning. She spoke to the vet and they came to realize that he was eating late on Friday nights (when my parents went out) and then with them being off on Saturday - he would get sick.
After that - they made sure he eats earlier and he doesn't get sick anymore. Weird right?

Re: Gizmo keeps throwing up
Bella has been getting sick alot lately too. At first I noticed she would vomit when she didn't eat for a long time, and then throw up bile. (she went on a food strike when we changed her food to adult) But today she threw up for no reason, and then she went on to eat her whole bowl of food like nothing happened! She has to get her annual shots soon, so I am going to mention it to the vet.
