Glen Cove Road off the Northern State
What exit is Glen Cove road off the northern state Parkway?
Danielle and I are going to a wedding tonight at the Metropolitan. I figured I would take the meadow brook to the northern state and get off on glen cove road and just take that straight up....to the Metropolitan. Will this work? Has anyone been there before? How far is it passed Northern Blvd?
Thanks, Scott

Re: Glen Cove Road off the Northern State
I'm not entirely sure about this but I'll try to help. Glen Cove Road and the Meadowbrook are kind of the same exit. If you are heading North on the Meadowbrook, it eventually ends at Northern State and you have to bear to the left to head west on Northern State. The exit for Glen Cove Road is right there.

Re: Glen Cove Road off the Northern State
I've passed it before, its right by the water if that helps and I think its a pretty good drive up there, so leave yourself plenty of time especially since its raining. I think the Glen Cove Road exit is 31 off the N. State. Have fun!

Re: Glen Cove Road off the Northern State
The Metroplitan in glen cove is on glen cove road. if you get to the police station, post office, library or fire house you have gone to far. If you take the highway and get off on glen cove road you will pass over northern blvd it is a couple of miles after that. Note that Glen Cove Road forks - you want the LEFT fork (it will look like you are still on a main road, the right fork will take you past the train tracks - if you did that you went the wrong way.)

Re: Glen Cove Road off the Northern State
We went to a wedding there in June, but I didn't drive so I am no help.
We had a wonderful time, our entrees were really good and the band was good. We had a lot of fun!!!! Duet was actually there photographer, so I saw Eric and Jay at this wedding. They are so sweet!!!

Re: Glen Cove Road off the Northern State
Nope - We didnt bring our camera
The food was excellent though...At the cocktail hour they had clams, oysters, mussels, shrimp and lobster....yummm.
For an entree, Danielle and I had the filet mignon, it was yummy and the dessert was really good too
Very nice place, and a nice atmosphere Scott
