Glider question (sorry--I'm full of questions)
If the glider doesn't come with an ottoman, is it necessary??

It's not necessary. Sometimes I use it and sometimes I don't. I put my feet up on it once in a while just because it's there, but honestly, I think it just takes up more space. If you're comfortable sitting in the chair without it, then I wouldn't bother.

I don't have an ottoman. When I tried it out in the store, it seemed uncomfortable. For me, I found it more comfy to put my feet on a stool if I needed to rest them on something.
I have this one and it really is a great product. I still use it under my desk to elevate my feet.

Necessary? Probably not, however, I use mine just about every time we are rocking or just sitting.
