Gliders- Vent!
DH & I just looked at gliders at BRU. Why the heck are they so darn expensive? I've read here & elsewhere to make sure it's wide enough, and to make sure the head part is high enough, even for DH to rest his head on. And we found one we liked that fit this criteria, but even after coupons & 10% discount, the set would still be $400!!! RIDICULOUS!!

Re: Gliders- Vent!
I was so happy when my sister told me she still had hers and I could have it if we wanted it. I looked at them and had no idea they would have been that much! I was having an anxiety attack in BRU over all the stuff there was to pick and the gliders nearly sent me over the edge!!!
I was going to buy that same one from Wal Mart! They have a reasonably priced changing table too, I wanted as a spare.

Do they have this in the store to try, or did you have to order online? I really want to test it out, you know? And I need DH to be comfortable in it too, so he can rock her miles & miles

Re: Gliders- Vent!
I saw some at Target that were reasonably priced as well.
We didn't really "test" them out, but it did seem like BRU had some on the less expensive end as well, but if you truly want it to fit all of your criteria, then it may cost more, KWIM?

Re: Gliders- Vent!
My concern with order a glider online is if will be comfy or not.

I do know what you mean, we may have to splurge. It's just frustrating!!

I totally know what you mean. I am not breastfeeding and I want one, but I am not going to splurge on it.
It is frustrating, some of them were so pretty too

Yeah, even without breastfeeding, you'll be gliding miles and miles night after night with your little one. All we want is comfort, darn it!! Of course it's got to be expensive!

Re: Gliders- Vent!
I got one from walmart and it was delivered last night. I never got to try it out beforehand and I have to say it's not that comfortable, but it was really inexpensive so I can't complain. It glides nicely so that is why I got it to begin with...at least it has some cushion at all, not like the old rocking chairs!

I have this exact set(colors) from Jardine(BRU). It's not super expensive and works fine for us. The ratings aren't great but we've been using it a year without any problems.

Re: Gliders- Vent!
They had some at Baby Depot that were very comfy and around $180. It might even be the one that was pictured above.

My cousin-in-law is giving me hers. She just told me the other day and I am so thrilled about it.
