Glucose test
I failed my 1 hr glucose test. The nurse just called me, she said that the norm is 140, mine was 148...just a little high.
Now I have to go take the 3 hr one

I failed the 1st one by a little bit and I passed the 3 hours, and I fasted before I went..

That is not really a big difference. There is a great chance you will pass the 3 hour test.
Some tips:
bring a water bottle with you
bring DH with you...why should you sit there bored and hungry for 3 hours alone? Plus you may feel a bit faint and not able to drive home safetly.
Bring a magazine or book
Bring a snack that you can eat right after they take the last blood test. You WILL need the food so you want to have it right away.

I was told I could not drink water during my 3 hour test. I would check with the lab before you drink anything.

My test is on Feb. 2
Now what happens if you fail both tests? Does that mean that you have Diabetes?
If that happens do they put you on a special diet

Yes - which isn't the worse thing in the world - because they've caught it early & have a plan for you & for your baby.
I failed by 1 hour with both pregnancies & passed the 3 hour both times. I wouldn't be too concerned about it. I went by myself & brought a book. I thought it was silly to bring my husband - I would rather have him use his days after the baby was born. It really wasn't too bad.

Thank you for all the tips. I think I am not allowed to drink or eat anything while doing the 3 hr. But, I will see my doc this Saturday and I will ask her.
I will definitely bring DH with me since I will be doing my 3 hr on a Saturday.
I'll make sure to bring a snack for after the test.

I was at 27 weeks. I believe the test is done between 27-28 weeks.

I didn't really fail my first one I was on the boarder line...132 So I had to take the 1 hr again and failed that 167
I took my 3 hr and passed...73
