Goals in Life
what is your goal in life? when you will be content?
have u achieved ur goals? are you content?
i thought i wanted to open up a pet boutique but me and dh want to have something together and a pet shop is not exactly what he would like...
So, our goal is to open up a bar.

My goals - to have a successful marriage, a few wonderful children, and a career as a Civil Rights Attorney, maybe eventually as a judge. So far, I have the marriage, one kid, and I'm working on getting a position in Civil Rights. I guess if, down the road, we have another child, and I get this job I'm interviewing for this week, I'll be fairly content with achieving my goals in life.

1 year goal-
Buy our first house
pay off all CC bills
5 year goal-
working towards 10 year goal
Have a child
10 year goal-
open a real estate development company with DH- he would handle the financing end and I would look for houses to flip- and flip them

My goals have changed a lot in the last 10 years. 10 years ago, my goals by now were to work for the UN, be married with 2 kids, living in a house somewhere in the suburbs. Now that is not want I want at all.
My career goals changed to becoming a litigation attorney in a small-midsize firm, which I am.
I am very happy to be married and I love having just my 1 little girl. I am not ready for another one. I can't imagine living the suburbs and loving living in Manhattan with no plans to leave anytime soon (except maybe for Brooklyn).
So my next "goals" I guess is to own my home and eventually have another baby. We are on our way there- at least for the home part.

Since I am an only child my goal was always to make my parents proud. For the most part I think I met or exceeded their expectations.
Now I am in a balancing act - the loving daughter, supportive wife, doting mother, and successful career woman.
As long is my family is happy I'm content.
I think I'd like to be in the position for us to buy a home in the next year or two, get my CPA, have another baby and stay at home for a few years.

To be in a happy marriage of say 50 years or so
To have children and grandchildren
TO be successfully happy..and happily successful...
i do not see an end to my goals any time soon 
But i am content

My goal is for this year coming up and I know I keep saying this BUT I want to lose some Extra pounds and Work out More than what I am doing now.
