God, i hope this is finally happening... - UPDATE
Cramping - check
Mucus plug gone - check
Contractions last night 6-10 min apart
was able to get about 5 hours of sleep
Nothing this morning except more musuc plug....
EDD - TODAY!
Worried b/c my BP is up and my hands are swelling
AHHH!!!!
12:30 update: Mom is a midwife and is on her way over to check me - hopefully some more dilation. BP and swelling are going down. Was able to sleep a bit (a blessing). Just praying now this might actually happen before Christmas. I remember going to lamaze and them saying "all you have at the end is time...." TELL ME ABOUT IT!

i would definitely contact your OB about your BP being up and your hands swelling... they may want you in the hospital to monitor you, or may even need to induce if you have any other signs of pre-eclampsia.
