Godparent gift
Sorry for the repost...
Dh was just asked to be a godfather tonight. We are sooooooo happy. The christening is this month and he needs to know what the proper gift to get for the baby is...any ideas?

Traditional in my family is the godfather buys the cross (necklace/chain with cross) - usually with a cash/bond gift.

In our family the Godfather buys the cross and the Godmother buys the gown.
