Going for first laser hair removal treatment tomorrow...
Going for a brazilian. Can't deal with shaving / waxing / in growns anymore. Supposedly it doesn't hurt at all. Will take at least 5 treatments. I'm psyched!!!

Let me know how you like it.. I am not hairy at all really but I still need to shave every few days (I hate the waiting period involved with waxing; so gross!)..

Re: Going for first laser hair removal treatment tomorrow...
I'm in NJ and the place I am going to has a 50% off rate going on and you can go as many times as it takes, and come back for touchups if needed...this is all included in the one price. I paid about $900 (reg price is 1800 for brazilian)...like I said, this includes 5 visits, and any extra visits I may need. I am pale and have dark hair, and they said I will see the most successful results. Coarse, dark hair on pale skin yields the best results.
They numb the area with a cream and supposedly it doesn't hurt (I'll let you know tomorrow!). Everyone is different, but I was told I will see results after the first treatment. Some people come back every 6 months for minor touch ups...they said I will see a 70-90% reduction in the hair removal, and that it is impossible to get 100% of the hair.

Re: Going for first laser hair removal treatment tomorrow...
I went for about 4 treatments at a well-known place in Great Neck on LI. I was actually in the process of getting everything done (arms, underarms, brazilian bikini, full leg and upper lip) but I'm PG now and had to stop. I really hope for your sake it doesnt hurt but for me, the pain was awful! I used a topical cream called Emla (from my derm) and it helped everywhere except for my bikini area! I think the biggest factor is your hair and skin color. I'm fair with dark hair. Anyway, I hope I didn't scare you...now I'm just wondering what kind of laser your place uses and what kind of cream they use too. Maybe it's something different or better than my place uses. Good luck!! The plus side is that it really does work!!!!

Oooh! I'm jealous! 1. that you're doing it and 2. that price!
I was just running the numbers past DH and even he was receptive to it. Amazing how getting brazilians regularly adds up!
