Going from weekly to bi-weekly pay

I am getting paid basically the same, but bi-weekly now.

I have this anxiety in my head I'm going to run out of money before getting paid again.

What are your tips for getting used to this arrangement again?

Going from weekly to bi-weekly pay

i pay all my bills on the 1st & the 15th when i get paid. so basically anything due the 1st -14th the first paycheck, 15-31st the 2nd, and allow a certain $ amount for gas & food, other expenses for every 1/2 month.
i also keep money in savings in case!!
i guess this is a little different than biweekly. DW gets paid biweekly it's such a pain to figure out what bills need to come out of what check.

Re: Going from weekly to bi-weekly pay

Tks. This is an old post now LOL. I actually set up 2 checking accounts.....one an amount to cover groceries, gas and fun money the other is our joint for bills. I also have a separate amount deposited into savings to draw from in lean times. So far this system is working really well.
