Going on a date tonight with UPDATE :)

I'm so excited, I just had to share with you gals......I'm going on a date tonight!! I went out with this guy (Dan) about a year ago and we stopped seeing each other for whatever reason....we figured bad communication.....I wasn't sure where I stood, ya-da..ya-da...ya-da and he felt the same with me....so fast forward to now....a couple of weeks ago he contacted me through IM and we started talking and we've talked a couple of times since via the computer and phone....so he had asked me out last Monday and I was sick so I had to basically tell him No and that I was sick. I kinda figured he was going to think I was blowing him off. But any ways, to make a long story short, we are going out to dinner tonight....I'm soooo excited!!! I really liked this guy so hopefully the second time is the charm....LOL....Wish me luck guys. I'll let you know how it goes


So we ended up going to Mamas in Copiague....lil Italian pizzaria with pastas and other meals on the side....the food was delicious! Never ate there before so this was a nice treat. Afterwards we went to Dave and Busters where he beat the heck out of me in air hockey and the Dance Dance Revolution game (after telling me that he don't dance) We had a great time and a great first date. The night ended with him telling me that he wanted to see me again when he got back from vacation (he will be skiing this week). I am so excited The only concern of mine is we were talking about future goals for ourselves and basically in a nutshell he said he's not ready to get married yet...he wants to have his fun still...but if the right girl came along he would probably change his mind about that. But then he also isn't sure if he wants children yet...which is some thing I eventually want. I don't know if this will change as well. I really really like him and I don't want to make this a big deal, but yet this is a major factor I have to consider. But I figure for now, I will have some fun. I'm talking to a few other guys on Eharmony...so I am putting myself out there. But for now, my date went awesome...and I can't wait to see this guy again Thanks gals for the "have fun" wishes!!

Sounds like a really fun date! I have been wanting to go there to eat for a while.
I think you should keep seeing him cause you never know he can change his mind. In a month or two you will know better but for now have fun and enjoy the dating!!!!

That is great that your date went well. Dave and Busters is great for a first date. (DH and I went there on our first date )

Take it one date at a time and see how it goes! That's awesome!
