Going out with coworkers... Is it odd to order a non-alcoholic margarita? w/UPDATE
I totally want one! With salt! 
Updated to add:
Ewww! Warning... Non-alcoholic margaritas are NASTY!!! lol. Who knew Tequila made something taste BETTER?! I ended up having pineapple juice.
Should have had an O'Doul's

I had one around 9w but I told the bartender to surprise me with the flavor as long as it was virgin. In retrospect I wish I got regular margarita flavor because it just tasted like a fruit smootie!

i do that all the time!! altho i was kinda disapointed when i ordered a non-alcoholic drink and they brought it to me in a soda glass!! i was well this is not fun! at least make it look like i am having a real one! LOL

i loved ordering virgin martinis when i was pregnant with my son - yeah it was just a juice connoction but it was something different to drink and it was fun having the rimmers too

not odd at all though the one time i did this it tasted gross. maybe because it was on the rocks (how i like it). the bartender even looked at me like "are you sure you don't want a flavor"?
what's funny is the night i ordered it, we later during dinner told DH's friends that we were pregnant and they didn't believe us at first. one of the girls was like "well if you ARE you just killed the baby so you can't be pregnant" all because she saw me drinking my virgin margarita. so some people ARE fooled I guess.... though she is not the sharpest tool in the shed...

what IS it that tastes so nasty, anyway? cointreau? i was really surprised too b/c i LOVE margaritas - who knew tequila made them sooo much better!
