Going to DC and Williamsburgh,VA soon, What are the places you recommend to see?

What are the "must see's" when you go? I have never been to DC, and DH has never been to Williamsburgh. Also, any restuarnts you highly recommend? Nice or casual places. TIA

Colonial Williamsburg is beautiful to walk around and explore the history.

DC is an incredible city IMO! There are so many museums, National Gallery of Art, Air & Space Museum, Spy Museum, Holocaust Museum and much more. Definitely go see all the monuments and memorials FDR Memorial, Vietnam WarMemorial, Korean War Memorial, Washington Monument, Lincoln Monument and etc.. There are also great neighborhoods to explore such as Capital Hill, Dupont Circle, Georgetown, Adams Morgan, etc.. Have fun!

Best thing we did in DC was get tickets for one of those trolley tours. It was one of those pay one price and get on and off all day. It was good b/c DC is huge and it took us to places we wouldn't have walked to.

Colonial Williamsburg is great and Busch Gardens is an amusement park that is also in Williamsburg. We are at Kings Arms Tavern in Williamsburg. It was nice and we are by candlelight just like colonial times.
