Going to Fla.............gate check question

we're probably going to Fla in June. I think my daughter will be getting a seat for my granddaughter who will be 8 mos. at that point.She's afraid of us having to hold during the whole flight. My daughter & son in law both get motion sickness on the plane, so I would be the one holding the baby. We also thought it would be safer if the baby was in her carseat. We will also be bringing a stroller. Can we gate check the stroller as well as pack n play? We would rather not have to rent baby items while we're down there. We're staying at my moms so we figured she could sleep in the PNP.

I flew with DD when she was 5 months old. If you are getting a seat for the baby - a car seat is fine to bring on the plane. You can gate check the stroller, but the pack & play will have to be checked with the other luggage.

To avoid that, I just ordered a new pack and play and had it delivered to my dad's house so I wouldn't have to travel with it. Got an inexpensive one from walmart.com and it was perfect for our week there.

Were flying to fl in September to see relatives and we are buying a cheap pack n play and having it shipped before we get there. its one less thing to carry.
