going to IVF doc - goldschlag
i made an appointment for a few weeks from now; what do i expect at my first appointment? my husband has male factor and they want me to get the ball rolling.

If you've already agreed w/ your dr and set up a plan then probably a ton of bloodwork... and genetic testing (more bloodwork). My DH and I both had to go for bloodwork- though mine was twice as much as his. Then you'll start on either provera to bring on a bleed, or if you get AF on your own, when you do, possibly BCPs. HTH!
ETA: I don't know your dr or his protocols, but this is what I went through, so it's probably the same or similar.
