Going to Spain this Friday!
YAY! So the trip is here! I am going to Spain on Friday and staying for a week... will finally see DH (he is working in Germany and we are meeting in Spain)
I am so excited!!!!!
Any last minute "must see" things to do...
Madrid,Valencia and Barcelona!

I love Spain. The tapas bar Talle de Tapas (I am almost positive that is the name) in Barcelona is excellant. Enjoy, Madrid is beautiful

oh yes!
in madrid you MUST have chocolate con churros for breakfast. it's a must
in Barca, you have to do a tapas crawl and walk las Ramblas at night (hold on to your purse! LOL)
in Valencia...that city is so beautiful. so much culture. it was a lazy two days there. we walked around shopped a bit.
the entertainment was provided by the city...a gay pride parade the day we arrived and then a symphony in one of the squares the next morning. it was beautiful just beautiful.
I loved Valencia!
don't eat the paella in ANY touristy spot in Madrid...it was terrible.
drink CIDRA! I loved that.
there is an awesome restaurant that we went to but I an't remember the name. I'll see if I can find it tonight (Madrid)
go to Retiro Park for sure. la Reina Sofia museum (all madrid)
see la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. there is so much stuff to do!
enjoy your time there!!!!! I can't wait to go back.

I lived in Seville for 13 years, but LOVE Madrid and Barcelona and Valencia too!!
I am so jealous -- we are going in the fall.
Have a great time. Go to the Tablao de Flamenco Santa Ana in Madrid and of course the Cathedral in Barcelona and Aquarium in Valencia...
