Going to the Hamptons for a few days and need hotel suggestions....
DH and i are going to be celebrating our 5 year anniversary at the end of aug. we want to go to the Hamptons for about 3 or 4 days. we really want to just relax on the beach, go out to dinner and do some shopping. what i need help with is hotel's. need a hotel that is close to the beach and the shopping and restaurants. i would like to be able to walk to everything if possible.
any siggestions? also, what part of the hamptons should i stay in? we do not have kids therefore we do not need to stay in a kid friendly place.

We stayed at the Mill House Inn, its a Bed and breakfast in East Hampton, close to shopping and restaurants (we went in December so I dont know how close it is to the beach but they have a website so you could find out everything about it on there). It was really, really nice and the breakfast was delish!
