Going to the hematologist
Today to be switched from Lovenox to Heparin (both blood thinners) just in case Mikayla decides to come early, I will be able to get an epidural if I am on the heparin
I am also going to talk to him about my specific risks if we need to do a c section due to my chubby baby......15 days until my induction or c-section (I moved this up 2 days to March 20th)

I am a Lovenox girl too (not Pg currently) There are really no compications but there are risks with Lovenox and epidural as it can cause paralysis. That is why you should be switched to Heparin unless you are POITIVE you want to go au natural. I have also read that there is a reverse agen for Heparin but not for Lovenox so if you bleed excessively they can "turn off" Heparin but not Lovenox. Besides for that as long as you are having your platelets checked regularly and they are normal there are no risks(obviously talk to your Dr)

I will, they said the needle gauge is the same you just have to fill the syringe by yourself and do it 2x a day instead of one.

May I ask, are you a planned c for other reasons not having to do with the lovenox? My doctor was talking about a c-section due to my big baby but that is still up in the air. I will find out more on Thursday when I go for the growth sono

Good for you! That will be nice time to get the last-minute stuff together, and to take in some time by yourself too!! One of my friends used that time to make a few meals (some in crock pot, etc) that she froze for the weeks/months after the baby's born, so she & her hubby could still eat, just had to thaw it. Just a suggestion, although I don't know how much energy I'd have to do it at 9 months!

I had one for the first. I suffer from preeclampsia and Hypertention . So he said to be safe we should plan for another C.
