Going to the public pool
Its going to be hot this weekend and I want to go to the pool but I am self conscious about the stretch marks on my hips and thighs. They have gotten pretty bad recently. Nevermind the fact I am cheap and I dont want to buy a maternity bathing suit and I am going to try to squeeze into my regular bathing suit.  I will be scaring all the small children.

I actually bought a maternity suit at Old Navy for $25!!! I was still swimming 1 mile a day in my first trimester. Then my boobs wouldn't fit into my speedo anymore.

I "thought" public pools werent safe for us. Because of all the germs and such. Maybe I am wrong but I know I heard that somewhere before.

I am thinking of going to the beach this weekend... and don't have a maternity suit....
Somehow I think it's my boobs that are going to give me a hard time getting into my regular suit!!!

Do you have a two-piece with boy shorts?
I was thinking about going to the beach & I would most likely wear a regular two-piece with a tank top over it or something.

I tried to get into my bathing suit on fourth of July before we went to our BBQ. All I can say is
I decided I will pass on the pool this summer

I got a really cute tankini at Motherhood...$30...well worth it...covers everything up...including the belly

Typically, public pools are safer than home pools. They are monitored closer, keeping chemical levels at the safe (and germ killing) level.

none of me can squeeze into my pre-pg bathing suits and i only wore bikinis  go for it and enjoy yourself -its too hot not to...

I have no problem wearing my bikini...I tried on several maternity suits then just decided to get a bikini in a larger size...
I went to the beach last week or so and quite a few women had some "underbreath" comments...when all is said and done I figured out that I felt pity towards them....SO get out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Show off that beautiful pregnant belly!!!!!!!!!!! Who cares about the stretch marks...Ive always been proud of mine!!!!!!!!! They are like battle scars and I wear mine proudly!!!!!!!!!!!!

AHHH don't even think about it. Just go, cool off and have a great time!! I'll be doing this on Monday and Tuesday!!
