Has anyone heard of or used Dr Palter at Gold Coast IVF? After two miscarriages, I went to Dr. Palter and he ran all the normal tests, and found nothing. Long story short, he’s recommending Clomid and IUI because nothing came up in the test results, he says that IUI will help me get pregnant and then put me on progesterone immediately following. I’ve spoken to a family friend who is an OBGYN who says I should get a second opinion just in case to make sure this is really what should be my next step. While this Dr. works primarily on the South shore, he hasn’t heard of Dr. Palter (who’s on the North shore). A: Should I be nervous that he hasn’t heard of him? B: Is it really necessary to get a 2nd opinion?
