gold jewelry
i've never been a big fan of gold jewelry but my mother in my younger years used to think i would grow to like it..now its 25 years later and i still don't like it and i have all this gold jewelry that i don't know what to do with..i just recently found it all when i was unpacking a box. any ideas what i can do with it? some of it is the letter "J" and other stuff is just gold necklaces or bracelets.

Ebay. def NOT!! you won't get a good price for your stuff on ebay.
you are FAR better off selling your gold in Tri County. and then you won't have to pay ebay or paypal fees

Re: gold jewelry
Is it jewelry that you would wear if it was not yellow gold? If you would wear it why dont you get it dipped to white gold?

Re: gold jewelry
I sold a lot of gold at Tri County and they gave me CRAP for it. I have some yellow gold (with gems) that I'm going to try to sell on ebay. We'll see how it goes.

yup, if it was something i'd wear. If not, I'd sell it for scrap gold. Gold is high right now!

You can pretty much go to any jewelry store and "sell" your gold to them.

Re: gold jewelry
My DH sold all our yellow gold pieces at a jewelry store in the city for weight. We got $1000 for crap that was sitting in our jewelry boxes for YEARS!! I'm talking old charms, charm holders, HUGE onyx charm circa 1989! It was great to get so much $$ for stuff we forgot we even had!
