Goldi's "DOH!" move of the day...
Just when I decided to be Mrs. Mother Earth and make baby food for Abby by buying all sorts of organic veggies and what not, I realize I made a huge error.
La la la put in leeks. La la la put in butter. La la la put in sweet potatoes and anything else you can with friggin homemade chicken stock, steam, boil whatever, add butter... BUTTER? BUTTER? Yeah, that's right I added butter to the boat load of baby food I made for Abby. Good right? Wrong. My kid doesn't eat dairy. Hours of time. Four different recipes and I can only use one of them. I'm just glad I hadn't given her any.
If anyone is dying for some homemade purees with butter in them, they are in my freezer. Help yourself! Then pass the margarine.

My house actually smelled like I cook for grown ups. I friggin bought LEEKS! Who buys leeks? Shoot I bought PARSNIPS too! In my almost 39 years on G-d's green earth, this here Hebrew never bought PARSNIPS for chicken stock. For my daughter, I bought em and they were wasted. WASTED PARSNIPS DAG NABBIT!

What's worse is that half the recipes have cheese in them. Of all kids MY kid doesn't eat dairy. Hopefully we will be able to work something out with her pediatrician.

I actually have leeks in my fridge... ...and I put Parsnips in my chicken soup too....
Throw them all together...add a little bit more broth...a touch of cream..and Im sure you'll have one heck of a cream of vegetable soup!!!!!

I even have a butternut AND a spaghetti squash. My fridge never had this much food in it even when I was 260 pounds!

Well, if Leslie actually has it in the freezer, I can get it for you when I see her on Monday 6/29 and hang onto it until you return from vacation OR Leslie can hang onto it until you come back from vacation and give it to you on 7/6 when you see her yourself.
