Gonal F/Follistim Pen users
So I am using a 900 IU Gonal-F pen. I am taking a dose of 112.5 every day. So 900 divided by 112.5 is 8. Last night was night #8...I still have more left in the pen?! Am I doing something wrong???

No...they overfill each pen. If you look on the carton you will see that a 900 pen actually contains 1126 units...that is why people are able to squeeze out more drugs. Each size pen contains extra and a few enterprising ladies order the smaller pens to get the extra overfill and save money.

I noticed the same thing, after my doses I had a little left over, it is normal The great thing about the pen is that it measures the dose for you.

thanks ladies...i was so nervous! I am responding to the Gonal, but wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong! This is my 3rd month using it, you think i'd have it figured out by now!
